Morrow Still Feeling ‘Lot of Pain,’ Cubs Have ‘Fingers Crossed’ for Quick Return

Speaking in the overly candid manner to which Cubs fans have become accustomed, pitching coach Jim Hickey told 670 The Score’s Mully and Hanley that things have not progressed well with Brandon Morrow’s “triceps or whatever it is.” While he later admitted that he misspoke regarding the source of the pain — it’s the biceps, of course — the fact that it’s there at all is not good.

“He has not gotten on to the mound yet,” Hickey said. “He’s got a lot of pain in there. I’m not exactly sure what’s going on in terms of his triceps or whatever it is.
