The Cubs made a trade with the Kansas City Royals with the Cubs sending reliever Stephen Ridings in exchange for Donnie Dewees, who you might remember was shipped to the Royals originally when we acquired Alec Mills.
Overall, Ridings was average to above average so far in the minors, but probably lower in the system for his age than he should have been.
