A rough outing from the Chicago Cubs Jake Arrieta was a surprise, and so is the fact that this Cubs offense is in a bit of a slump. They’ve scored only one run each in their last three games and needed spectacular pitching to win 1-0 in the series opener against the Brewers. Ryan Braun hit a two-run shot to center in the first off Arrieta, and that was all they would need as the Cubs could scratch out only one run on a solo home run from Anthony Rizzo.
