Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts was mic’d up during a Tuesday matinee against the Cubs and as Kris Bryant smoked a triple over him during his in-game interview, he wasn’t afraid to hide his reaction.
“Uh oh! I ain’t getting this one, boys!”
To recover, he proceeded to give advice on what an outfielder should do to lessen the blow — just hit the cutoff guy and try not to miss high — giving himself a virtual pat on the back by point out he did not miss high.
