MoneyBulls: Lackey, Lester get into the rodeo business

After a typically dominant start last Friday night in Houston, Cubs pitcher Jon Lester wore a big belt buckle on his jeans as he talked to reporters. When in Texas, right?

Not exactly. The belt was adorned with different bulls and the words “Battle of the Bulls.” Lester didn’t buy it at the Upscale Cowboy Store to strut around Houston. He earned it because he and John Lackey are part owners of several rodeo bulls, along with former Red Sox teammate Josh Beckett and some civilians.

So if you wondered if these two could get any more high-end country, there’s your answer.
