Moises Ballesteros heads up a group of 7 Cubs heading to the Arizona Fall League

Cubs catching prospect Moises Ballesteros had a fine year in 2024, batting .289/.354/.471 with 24 doubles and 19 home runs in 124 games combined between Double-A Tennessee and Triple-A Iowa. He turns 21 in November.

Today, Major League Baseball announced the rosters for the Arizona Fall League, and Ballesteros heads up a group of seven Cubs who will play for the Mesa Solar Sox, whose home field is the Cubs’ spring home, Sloan Park.

The other Cubs include four pitchers, all righthanders Shane Marshall, Aaron Perry, Vince Reilly and Luis Rujano, and infielders Ben Cowles and Jonathan Long.
