I have to say that I do enjoy Players’ Weekend as a once-a-year thing. I wouldn’t want those uniforms or nicknames on jerseys all the time, but as a three-day thing, I think it really brightens up some games in the dog days of August.
Now if we can just get some sort of alternate Cubs uniforms with that “walking bear” logo.
