A little more than a month after five zillion (rough approximation) people lined Michigan Ave. to watch the Cubs’ victory parade, a slightly fewer amount of people lined up for a chance to take a photo with the trophy at the Cubs’ new “pop-up” team store (663 N. Michigan) on Friday.
The event was part of the Cubs’ World Series trophy tour, which they announced on Thursday. The trophy will be available for photos again next week at City Hall before hitting the road throughout the Midwest.
