Josh Borenstein, a 30-year-old screenwriter originally from Arlington Heights, Ill., has a screenplay for a movie about Hank Greenberg that he’s shopping around Hollywood.
“It’s called “Tiger in the Lion’s Den,” he said. “A couple agencies are looking it. I wrote it a couple years ago.”
Now Borenstein, who used to write a blog about Jewish baseball players, could have a more personal story about an upstart group of Jewish baseball players who took the world by storm.
OK, they took the World Baseball Classic by storm. And this story might need a more Hollywood ending.
