‘Meet the Mets, meet the Mets,’ can the Cubs beat the Mets (this time)?

The last time the Cubs and New York Mets were on the same field, the Mets poured champagne on each other and celebrated their four-game National League Championship Series sweep at Wrigley Field.

Noah Syndergaard and the Mets staff overpowered the Cubs’ young lineup while Yoenis Cespedes and Daniel Murphy made Jake Arrieta — and the rest of Chicago’s staff — look mortal.

We know that the Cubs (51-26) are a slightly different team, but the Mets (40-37) have changed as well. While the starting pitching staff has remained dominant, injuries bring questions.
