Since Mondays are typically the drag of the week as we all learned from Garfield growing up, let’s use Mondays to take stock of how the Cubs are looking from a personnel standpoint and what changes could or should be made going forward.
Manager: Joe Maddon is still without a contract next season and will probably remain so through the rest of the year. I like Maddon and hope he returns on a multi-year deal but since there will most likely not be any change in this situation, going forward I won’t bring it up.
