Lindor and Baez were childhood neighbors Puerto Rico, now rivals in World Series

Francisco Lindor and Javier Baez are both natives of Puerto Rico and first learned to play baseball while living on the island. They were neighbors, living only about 15 miles away from each other.

Now the two shortstops will meet up on baseball's grandest stage, the World Series, as the Cleveland Indians take on the Chicago Cubs. Lindor and Baez have stayed close throughout the years, and their rivalry will be a friendly, albeit fierce one.
