Over the last 30-plus years, Lin Brehmer has been a fixture in the Chicago music scene. His love for baseball and the Cubs was born on the streets and stoops of New York, and since 1984, when he took the music director job at WXRT. Brehmer has spent his springs, summers and sometimes falls with his wife and son at Wrigley Field, riding the roller coaster that is Chicago Cubs baseball. He considers himself a resident of Aisle 229 at Wrigley Field.
The following is an edited conversation with Brehmer.
