CHICAGO -- Jon Lester was removed with lower back tightness with two outs in the sixth inning of the Cubs' series opener against the Brewers on Monday night at Wrigley Field.
After Lester struck out Jonathan Schoop swinging for the second out, catcher Willson Contreras saw something was off with the left-hander and called for manager Joe Maddon and athletic trainer PJ Mainville.
Lester must've convinced both Maddon and Mainville he was fine, because he stayed in the game to face two more hitters.
