ATLANTA -- Though it's just small hints right now, already Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon sounds like he's open to seeing rookie Kyle Schwarber in the lineup more often.
For example, Maddon indicated on Friday that Schwarber wouldn't catch veterans Jon Lester or Jake Arrieta, but after going 3-for-4 at the plate in a 4-2 loss Friday night -- and handling himself OK behind it -- Maddon is reconsidering who his catcher for Arrieta's next start on Sunday might be.
