Reinforcements could be around the corner for the injury-devastated Wild.
With the Wild down to eight healthy forwards in practice Monday and Tuesday, wingers Mikael Granlund and Marcus Foligno are expected to practice with the Wild on Thursday, The Athletic has been told.
If all goes well in practice, both forwards could travel to Winnipeg later Thursday afternoon as the Wild embark on a road trip Friday and Saturday against the Jets and Calgary Flames, respectively.
While Foligno is expected to throw on a cage and play against the Jets, it's uncertain if Granlund will play during the weekend.
