Matt Shaw is unlikely to be ready to start the season at third base, leading fans to wonder who will man the hot corner when Opening Day rolls around. Not only is Shaw down, but Nico Hoerner doesn’t seem to be on a path to playing either. Jon Berti is a lock to make the roster, with the versatility to play several infield and outfield spots if needed.
