Javy Baez singlehandedly changed the narrative around the Cubs, pulling panicking fans off the ledge with an absolutely monster game in Los Angeles Tuesday night.
Cubs hitting coach Chili Davis called for a team meeting before Tuesday night's game just hours before Kris Bryant was placed on the disabled list. It looks like Baez certainly paid attention in that meeting and stepped up in Bryant's absence, hitting 3rd in the Cubs order and playing third base.
