Like any good spouse, Jason Hammel watches his wife’s television shows with her (Baseball players, they’re just like us!).
One of those shows is “Vanderpump Rules”, a spinoff of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” “Vanderpump” documents the lives of employees of SUR, a restaurant in Los Angeles owned by “Housewives” cast member Lisa Vanderpump.
“If you open up the DVR, that’s like, top two,” Hammel told The Athletic‘s Jon Greenberg on Monday in Cleveland. “All my stuff, like ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘The Blacklist’ are all way down there.”
So during the offseason, Hammel said, he decided to surprise his wife by taking her to SUR.
