It’s trade deadline day! What will the Cubs do?

As you know, the Cubs have already traded four players from their 2021 Opening Day roster. Here are links to the BCB articles on those deals:

Here are the players the Cubs received in those deals, all minor leaguers: first baseman Bryce Ball, outfielder Greg Deichmann, righthander Daniel Palencia, lefthander Bailey Horn, outfielder Kevin Alcantara and righthander Alexander Vizcaino. That’s six prospects of varying value as Cubs President of Baseball Operations Jed Hoyer tries to re-stock a mostly barren farm system. In general it seems as if the Cubs did pretty well in all four trades.
