It sure looks like Jason Heyward has unlocked something offensively

As Anthony Rizzo was admiring Jason Heyward's physique last weekend in Milwaukee, Heyward said he just hoped to someday be able to "cut the wind" at Wrigley Field like Rizzo.

Then Heyward went out and did just that Wednesday night, sending a Jordan Lyles offering into the center field basket through the teeth of 20 mph winds on a frigid night.

That kind of power would be impressive for anybody and it certainly wasn't expected from Heyward, who entered the game with 29 homers in 404 games and 2,454 at-bats in a Cubs uniform. The blast is indicative of just how far Heyward has come offensively and what kind of groove he's in right now.
