The Florida-based crocodile hunter who helped capture the Humboldt Park Lagoon alligator will throw out the first pitch before the Cubs host the Reds at Wrigley Field on Tuesday night.
Frank Robb, owner of Crocodilian Specialist Services in St. Augustine, Florida, will get to revel in his role as gator-grabbing hero with an appearance on the field to throw the ceremonial opening pitch, the Cubs confirmed to the Sun-Times.
Robb, 39, used a 25-foot fishing rod cast to hook and reel in the popular reptile known on social media as “Chance the Snapper” on Tuesday morning after a week-long search.
