Jim Riggleman managed the Cubs from 1995-99. In 1998, while Jordan and the Bulls completed their second three-peat, Riggleman was in the Wrigley Field dugout watching Sammy Sosa chase Roger Maris’ home run record while guiding the North Siders to a playoff berth.
