Yesterday, I wrote here about the memo being circulated by the MLB Players Association that says Nike and MLB will be fixing many of the issues that came up this spring with new uniforms. So, that’s good.
Today, I want to call your attention to this article by Tyler Kepner in The Athletic in which he says that the parties should go farther, and let MLB players wear their own team jerseys for the All-Star Game. Kepner writes:
Do something about the All-Star Game. The past three have been maddening monuments to short-sighted greed, with generic uniforms for the American and National Leagues.
