SAN FRANCISCO -- Kyle Hendricks finally looked like himself.
On a brisk Monday night at AT&T Park, the right-hander didn't look the part of a pitcher who had not gone past the sixth inning since May 25.
Rather, Hendricks looked rejuvenated in the 2-1 extra-inning loss to the Giants. Across 8 1/3 innings, he located his fastball, threw his curve with confidence and baffled the Giants with a devastating changeup. Of his eight strikeouts, seven of them were of the swinging variety on his signature change.
