I’m a Hoosier, born and raised. I know that not all of you can relate to that — heck, some of you may even feel a bit of disdain for me as a result — but I think anyone visiting this site knows the value of sports. High school sports were a huge part of my life growing up, which is why a story I read recently struck a chord.
Arlington High School on the east side of Indianapolis is not in a great spot. Only 3 years ago, the school was struggling so badly that the state had to turn its operations over to a private entity.
