Last week, the BBWAA announced the latest class of inductees into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. The news that Tim Raines, Jeff Bagwell and Ivan Rodriguez had been voted into the class of 2017 was almost overshadowed by the moralizing and handwringing that accompanied the other news that Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds are gaining votes and might make it into the HOF themselves in another year or two.
That occasioned a number of very thoughtful posts on this blog offering different perspectives whether suspected PED users are HOF worthy, and arguing why or why not.
