On Friday, the Cubs failed to score a run in their 4-0 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 1 of the NLDS.
They made up for it early on Saturday in Game 2, scoring five runs in the second inning thanks to some small ball.
It started off with a squeeze bunt from Kyle Hendricks, which drove in Austin Jackson from third.
In attempt to get the out at first, Cardinals pitcher Jaime Garcia overthrew the first baseman and Hendricks advanced to second on the play.
With one out and runners on second and third, Addison Russell responded with a squeeze bunt of his own to give the Cubs a 2-1 lead.
