The hard-throwing lefty pipeline between the White Sox and Red Sox is apparently still open, as Garrett Crochet is heading east in exchange for multiple prospects. Catcher Kyle Teel, ranked No. 4 in Boston’s system and No. 25 overall, is one of the headliners. The Cubs had reportedly been involved in talks for Crochet, but clearly weren’t the winners for one reason or another.
