This weekend series has been quite enjoyable as a Cub fan. Are you having fun yet? Let’s talk about some notes from yesterday.
Rotation Excellence
As we started the season, a lot of folks thought the starting rotation was perhaps the most loaded it had been in team history. I wasn’t going that far, but I did think it could be good and could be a strength of the team. Then the season started and things got rocky. I was listening to an interview the other day with Rick Sutcliffe and he is a believer that the reason for the struggles by the rotation early is a combination of the start of the season weather and the missed games that have thrown the normal rotation off of it’s axils.
