Game 2: Winning a Jake Arrieta start feels critical

NEW YORK -- The Chicago Cubs find themselves in the same position they were eight days ago, having dropped the opening game of their division series against the St. Louis Cardinals. Here they’re down 1-0 to the New York Mets but in a less do-or-die situation because this series is a best-of-seven and they have their best pitcher throwing in Game 2.

They’ll need to find a little more offense just to be safe, as they can’t expect Jake Arrieta to be perfect – he actually gave up four runs in his last start – but they’ll have to battle even colder conditions than we saw in Game 1.
