The Cubs reinstated RHP Hector Rondon from the 15-day disabled list. Rondon was placed on the DL on August 19, retroactive to Aug. 17, with right triceps strain.
The Cubs recalled OF Albert Almora Jr, RHP Spencer Patton and INF Munenori Kawasaki from Triple-A Iowa.
