Cubs recall RHP Cory Mazzoni from Triple-A Iowa, RHP Alec Mills sent back to Iowa
The Iowa shuttle continued Saturday for the Cubs. A day after being called up from Iowa, RHP Alec Mills was sent back down to Triple-A. RHP Cory Mazzoni was recalled to give Joe Maddon another option out of the bullpen.
The Cubs are utilizing the rules to perfection. With Cole Hamels expected to be with the club at some point Saturday, he will not be added to the active roster until Sunday.
