The Cubs made it official Monday. The Cubs re-signed RHP Trevor Cahill to a one-year contract.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Reports last week indicated Cahill signed a one-year, $4.25 million contract.
With Trevor Cahill officially back with the Cubs, the 40-man roster stands at 39 players with one contract pending (Jason Heyward) and a yet to be named player due from the Yankees to complete the Starlin Castro–Adam Warren trade.
Cahill, 27, went 1-0 with a 2.
