The Cubs shuffled the bullpen again on Friday prior to the second of four games with the Padres at Wrigley.
The Cubs placed LHP Brian Duensing on the 10-day disabled list with left shoulder inflammation. LHP Randy Rosario, who was not happy about his demotion to Iowa earlier in the week in order to activate Brandon Kintzler, was recalled from Triple-A Iowa.
