The Cubs announced four roster moves Tuesday afternoon that will change the look of the Cubs’ bullpen.
The Cubs optioned RHP Adam Warren to Triple-A Iowa. Warren is being sent down to be stretched out. Warren will be used as a starter for Triple-A Iowa. RHP Spencer Patton was recalled from Triple-A Iowa to take Warren’s spot in the bullpen.
Clayton Richard was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a blister.
