Frank Gore is still fond of the 49ers and the Bay Area, and that feeling is mutual ahead of Sunday's reunion

In San Francisco's Mission District, there are still large murals of Frank Gore in a 49ers uniform — at least three of them, at last count. The one on 14th Street depicts Jim Harbaugh and Patrick Willis next to Gore, cradling the football, scanning for a hole to squeeze through. Text below it reads “Who's got it better than us?”
About 20 miles to the south, inside of a nondescript San Carlos strip mall, one can find the Undisputed Boxing Gym. Gore isn't forgotten where he used to train in the offseason, either — his No. 21 49ers jersey rests framed and autographed in the middle of the gym's most prominent wall.
