Much-maligned umpire Au0301ngel Hernau0301ndez is retiring from Major League Baseball.
News of the controversial umpire’s retirement was met with almost universal glee from baseball fans who were tired of Hernau0301ndez’s repeated missed calls (Hernandez worked only 10 games during the 2023 season because of a back injury, but he missed 161 calls, according to Umpire Auditor. That’s bad!).
