FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Haley Scheer had grown a little frustrated with the lack of specificity, getting the same unsatisfactory, vague answer to the question she’d pose each evening. She’d ask her boyfriend Nick Stevens how his day had been, how football practice had gone.
“He’d be like, ‘Good,’ just like a typical guy. ‘It was good,’ ” she mimics now, chuckling. “But was it really good? That's when I started watching film — so I could actually find out. Was it good or was it bad?”
And so she began watching Colorado State’s football practice each day as soon as videos and cut-ups were uploaded, paying specific attention to quarterback play.
