BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — On a day when the Michigan football team’s offense was far from pretty, Karan Higdon was an outlier.
The junior running back rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns on 25 carries in a 27-20 win over Indiana, just one yard shy of matching his season total coming into the day.
“He was phenomenal,” Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said. “I don’t know how many yards he got after contact, but there were tough yards, and [he] made some plays that looked like they were going to be tackled for a loss, or one-yard gain, or no-gain that he found a way to get four or five out of.
