Grandpa Rossy has another gig in retirement.
A couple weeks after David Ross was announced last at Cubs Convention as the organization's new special assistant to baseball operations, the affable former catcher now has a job with ESPN as an MLB analyst, as announced Monday morning.
According to ESPN, Ross will provide analysis on SportsCenter, in studio and even join some game broadcasts.
He worked with ESPN as an analyst during the postseason in 2014 and 2015 (after the Cubs were eliminated).
"I'm excited to dive right in and start talking baseball with my new colleagues at ESPN," said David Ross.
