Tommy Edman has been a Cubs nemesis dating back to his days with the Cardinals. He entered Friday night’s game batting .280/.320/.500 with 13 home runs in 68 career games against the Cubs — by far his most homers against any team (next most: seven against the Pirates and Brewers).
Make that home run number 14, as Edman’s three-run homer off Matthew Boyd in the sixth was all the Dodgers needed to defeat the Cubs 3-0.
