DEVELOPING: Bryant hit by pitch in helmet

Top Yankees prospect Gleyber Torres basked in the cheers of the crowd during the famed roll call in the first inning, and he received a standing ovation from the crowd for his first MLB at-bat in the second.

Batting eighth and playing second base, Torres struck out on an 81-mph slider from Blue Jays starter Jaime Garcia with men on second and third. Torres grounded into a double play in the bottom of the fourth, and he handled his first chance at second base seamlessly in the fifth, throwing out Devon Travis at first base.
