Cubs will reserve judgment on Anthony Rizzo's new cereal -- until they try it

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- His teammates were kept in the dark but now that it’s public, Chicago Cubs players are looking forward to tasting first baseman Anthony Rizzo’s new cereal.

“You know you’re big time when you get your own cereal,” catcher and good friend David Ross said Thursday. “He better supply the boys. I better get a free box.”

“RizzO’s” is available at local Jewel-Osco stores with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation. It's described as a honey nut toasted oats cereal that comes packaged in a 14-ounce limited edition collector’s box featuring a custom illustration of Rizzo.
