In an effort to bring you at least some baseball news in the 2018 baseball news desert, I present to you this announcement from ESPN.
Thursday, the network announced it would be carrying four spring-training games this coming March.
One of those will be the Cubs’ final spring tuneup before they begin the regular season, Tuesday, March 27 against the Red Sox at Boston’s spring home, JetBlue Park in Ft. Myers, Florida.
That game will be live on ESPN at 12 noon CT that day.

The Cubs have not yet released a broadcast schedule for spring training; I assume that will come soon after the convention.
