MILWAUKEE -- The Brewers regained first place in the National League Central on Tuesday night thanks to a 4-0 win over the Cubs, who not only botched a rundown but a chance to open some breathing room in the standings.
Travis Shaw hit a pair of two-run doubles, the latter aided by a defensive brain cramp in the third, and Chase Anderson gave up one hit over seven innings to help the Brewers win for the second time in 10 games against the Cubs. Chicago began the day with a half-game lead in the NL Central.
