In what was likely their final move of the day, the Cubs sent sent High-A outfielder Jimmy Herron to the Rockies in exchange for international pool money. The 23-year-old Herron was the Cubs’ third-round pick in 2018 (No. 98 overall) and has shown solid contact skills with a good plate approach, but was batting just .220 with a .656 OPS in 373 plate appearance for Myrtle Beach.
