Cubs Top Rangers in Annual Futures Game

Prospects from the Cubs and Rangers organizations squared off Wednesday in Surprise for the second annual Futures Game. And the Cubs came out on top by a final of 10-9.

Ian Happ and Victor Caratini homered for the Cubs. Happ led off the fourth with a homer that gave the Cubs a 6-3 lead at the time. Willson Contreras doubled in a run in the third inning. Dan Vogelbach singled in two runs. Albert Almora Jr. and Mark Zagunis both drove in runs.
