The Cubs have signed all three pitchers that they selected in the 2020 MLB Draft, the team announced Thursday.
Left-handed pitchers Burl Carraway and Luke Little, and right-hander Koen Moreno become the Cubs’ latest signings, after No. 16 overall pick Ed Howard inked a contract with the Cubs earlier this week. Of the team’s five draft picks from the five-round virtual draft two weeks ago, Cubs third-round pick Jordan Nwogu, an outfielder out of Michigan University, is the only one who remains unsigned.
On the second night of the draft, Cubs vice president of scouting Dan Kantrovitz said the team was “optimistic that we’re going to get everybody signed in the near future.
