MILWAUKEE -- In addition to participating in Mother's Day events at Miller Park, in which several players used pink bats or wore pink shoes, the Cubs will host their own event Monday to promote breast cancer prevention awareness.
Cubs Charities will hold its "Pink Out" event on Monday when the Cubs open a four-game series against the New York Mets at Wrigley Field.
Fans in the bleachers will receive a "Pink Out" T-shirt, and fans seated elsewhere will be able to obtain a shirt in exchange for a donation, collected by wives of Cubs players and coaches.
